Our Mission

The Shiba-Inu, with its outgoing personality,
convenient size, and good nature has made
it the most common pet in Japan. Growing in
popularity worldwide, it has only been in
recent years that they have been seen out of
their native land.

Shiba-Inus are independent, industrious and
strong-willed. They are alert, curious, and
intelligent. Although they can be strong
willed, they can be easily trained. They have
a fun-loving personality, and they are loyal to
their owners. Shiba Inus like to explore.
They are affectionate, sensitive, and friendly
dogs. They are very clean dogs and
housetrain easily. They have been known to
avoid a mud puddle, rather than walk in it.

Shiba Inus have been known to be somewhat
scrappy with other dogs, however, and they
are good as guard and watchdogs. They are
fun and ready to play at any time, but are not
pesky and underfoot as some breeds can be.
They are good with children. But may show
signs of aggression with same sex dogs, but
they get along well with other pets.
